Tissue samples taken from the brain and nervous system cockroaches showed at least there are 9 contain compounds that are toxic or poisonous to the bacteria. The compound was even claimed to be able to kill up to 90 percent of super bacteria including Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and Escherichia coli.

Super bacteria that was a serious threat to world health in general, because the ability to mutate makes it more resistant to existing antibiotics that. Whereas the development of new antibiotics is not always easy, because sometimes even dangerous side effects patients.

But of the 9 compounds found in several species of cockroaches and other insects including grasshoppers, the researchers found no serious side effects for humans. Therefore, these findings have been regarded as providing new hope in an effort to control the growth and spread of superbugs.

This finding is also at the same time improve the image of the cockroach as insect that is always identified with dirty environment. And though life in the trash and sewage waste, including animal most hygienic cockroaches because diligently cleaned up like a cat.

Several studies have shown, far more bacteria living on human skin rather than on the surface of the body of a cockroach. Therefore, taking the food without washing hands is the same joroknya by eating food that has just passed a cockroach.

Even if there are health problems caused by cockroaches, the most responsible for the droppings. Several compounds in cockroach feces and urine contains compounds that can trigger allergic reactions for some people, a rash on the skin and other reactions including asthma attacks.
